Skin Boosters.
Hydrate & illuminate.
Skin boosters are injectable treatments designed to improve skin hydration and overall skin quality from within. They work by delivering hyaluronic acid, a moisture-retaining substance naturally found in the body, directly into the dermis, the deeper layer of the skin where hydration and collagen support are needed most. Once injected, the hyaluronic acid attracts and binds to water within the skin, helping to distribute hydration throughout the treated area for a smoother, plumper and more radiant complexion.
Unlike dermal fillers, skin boosters do not add volume or change facial structure. Often described as a “drink for the skin”, these treatments help improve radiance, smooth fine lines and refine overall texture. With minimal downtime, results appear gradually over time.

To prepare for your treatment, please avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen for 24–48 hours before your appointment, as this can increase the likelihood of bruising.
You will also be sent medical and consent forms to complete before your appointment so your consultation can run smoothly.
-
On arrival, your consultation will take place to discuss your concerns, treatment goals and any relevant medical history.
Photographs of the treatment area will be taken as part of your assessment and treatment planning. If appropriate, a numbing cream may be applied to ensure comfort before treatment begins.
Once you are happy to proceed, the skin booster will be administered through a series of small injections across the treatment area.
Most appointments take around 30–45 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. You may notice mild redness, swelling, bruising or small injection marks afterwards, which usually settle within a few hours, although some swelling can last a little longer.
-
You may notice small bumps, redness or mild swelling at the injection points immediately after treatment. This is normal and usually settles within a few hours.
Results appear gradually as hydration improves and the skin responds to treatment. A course of treatments may be recommended for optimal results, with improvements continuing as the skin’s hydration and quality develop.

Skin boosters are advanced injectable treatments designed to improve skin hydration, elasticity and overall skin quality. A gel-like solution is delivered into the deeper layers of the skin, where it works to restore moisture, strengthen the skin and support long-term skin health.
Most skin boosters are formulated with hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin responsible for maintaining hydration and structure. As we age, levels of hyaluronic acid gradually decline, which can lead to dryness, dullness and loss of elasticity. Skin boosters help replenish this moisture while supporting the skin’s ability to retain hydration.
Once injected into the dermis, skin boosters work in two key ways:
• Deep hydration – attracting and retaining water within the skin to improve plumpness and radiance.
• Collagen support – stimulating fibroblasts within the skin to support collagen and elastin production over time.
Unlike dermal fillers, which add volume to specific areas, skin boosters are delivered through a series of small injections across the treatment area. This approach allows the treatment to improve the overall quality of the skin, creating gradual, natural-looking improvements in hydration, texture and radiance.

To reduce the risk of bruising, we advise you to avoid:
alcohol for 24 hours before
aspirin, ibuprofen & Omega-3 supplements for 2 days before
-
Numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area beforehand to reduce any discomfort.
You may experience some mild swelling and tenderness.
As with any injectable, there is a small chance that bruising and/or swelling may occur (typically within 48 hours from treatment) but this will subside.
-
Results develop gradually as the skin becomes more hydrated and revitalised. Many people begin to notice improvements within a few weeks, with continued improvements as the skin responds to treatment.
A course of 2–3 treatments is often recommended for optimal results, usually spaced several weeks apart. Your treatment plan will be discussed during your consultation.
