Polynucleotides.
Regenerate & restore.
Polynucleotides are advanced injectable treatments designed to regenerate and strengthen the skin by supporting its natural repair processes.
Unlike dermal fillers or traditional skin boosters, they work at a cellular level to stimulate fibroblasts — the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin — encouraging the skin to repair and renew itself. This leads to improved elasticity, thickness and overall skin quality.
Derived from highly purified DNA fragments, polynucleotides are often referred to as “biostimulators” as they trigger the skin’s natural regenerative response. This helps reduce inflammation and improve concerns such as fine lines, acne scarring, under-eye hollows and loss of firmness.
Over time, this process creates smoother, stronger and healthier-looking skin, making them ideal for natural, long-term skin improvement.

To prepare for your treatment, please avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medication such as aspirin or ibuprofen for 24–48 hours before your appointment, as this can increase the likelihood of bruising.
You will also be sent medical and consent forms to complete before your appointment so your consultation can run smoothly.
-
On arrival, your consultation will take place to discuss your concerns, treatment goals and any relevant medical history.
Photographs of the treatment area may be taken as part of your assessment and treatment planning. If appropriate, a numbing cream may be applied to ensure comfort before treatment begins.
Once you are happy to proceed, the polynucleotides will be administered through a series of small injections across the treatment area.
Most appointments take around 30–45 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. You may notice small raised bumps (sometimes referred to as blebs) at the injection sites immediately after treatment. This is completely normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours as the product is absorbed into the skin. Mild redness, swelling or occasional bruising can also occur and typically resolves within a few days.

You may notice small bumps, redness or mild swelling at the injection points immediately after treatment. This is normal and usually settles within 24–48 hours as the product is absorbed into the skin. Occasionally, light bruising may occur and typically resolves within a few days.
Results develop gradually as the skin begins to regenerate and repair itself. Improvements in skin texture, firmness and overall skin quality become more noticeable over the following weeks.
A course of treatments may be recommended for optimal results, with continued improvements as the skin responds to treatment.

For optimal skin health, polynucleotides can be combined with one of our advanced facials.
Polynucleotides.
Polynucleotides work beneath the surface of the skin to stimulate repair and regeneration, supporting collagen production and strengthening the skin over time.

Polynucleotides are biopolymers composed of nucleotide monomers, which are the building blocks of DNA. In skin treatments, polynucleotides promote tissue regeneration and repair by stimulating the skin’s natural healing processes. Unlike traditional fillers, which add volume, polynucleotides work on a cellular level to improve skin health, elasticity, and appearance.

Polynucleotides are suitable for a wide range of individuals, particularly those who:
Have ageing skin: If you’re starting to notice signs of ageing such as fine lines, wrinkles, or sagging skin, polynucleotides can help rejuvenate your skin and restore its youthful appearance.
Suffer from acne scars or other skin imperfections: Polynucleotides can significantly improve the texture of the skin, making them an excellent option for those dealing with acne scars, enlarged pores, or other textural irregularities.
Seek preventative treatment: Even if your skin is not currently showing signs of ageing or damage, polynucleotides can be used as a preventative measure to maintain skin health and prevent future issues.
Have sensitive or compromised skin: Due to their anti-inflammatory and regenerative properties, polynucleotides are also suitable for individuals with sensitive or compromised skin.
-
Polynucleotides function by activating various cellular mechanisms that contribute to skin regeneration. Here’s how they work:
Tissue repair and regeneration: Polynucleotides promote the proliferation of fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen production. Increased fibroblast activity leads to enhanced collagen synthesis, which in turn improves skin elasticity, reduces wrinkles, and revitalises the skin’s texture.
Anti-inflammatory effects: Polynucleotides have natural anti-inflammatory properties, which help soothe the skin and reduce redness and swelling. This makes them particularly effective for treating conditions such as acne scars or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
Moisture retention: One of the unique benefits of polynucleotides is their ability to bind water molecules, significantly enhancing the skin’s hydration levels. Well-hydrated skin appears plumper, smoother, and more youthful.
Antioxidant protection: Polynucleotides also have antioxidant properties that protect the skin from oxidative stress caused by environmental factors such as UV rays and pollution. This helps in preventing further damage and maintaining the skin’s health.

Numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area beforehand to reduce any discomfort.
You may experience some mild swelling and tenderness.
As with any injectable, there is a small chance that bruising and/or swelling may occur (typically within 48 hours from treatment) but this will subside.

Results develop gradually as the skin begins to regenerate and repair itself. While some improvements in hydration and skin quality may be noticeable within the first few weeks, the full benefits typically become more visible over the following months as collagen production increases.
A course of 2–3 treatments is often recommended for optimal results, usually spaced around 3–4 weeks apart. Because polynucleotides support the skin’s natural regeneration processes, improvements appear progressively and continue to develop over time.
